Details about the operation of the evaluation
engine

The results evaluation engine works in three stages: first determines whether a .rec file exists (smoothed data). If not, it takes data from the .raw file, performs data-smoothing and prepares a .rec file. Then evaluation of data contained in a .rec file takes place in two processing phases.
The first processing phase
This phase involves the following steps:
- calculation of a "smoothed" version of the measured function,
- calculation of the 1st derivative of the measured function,
- transformation of the measured response to the frequency domain (complex
locus),
- calculation of the time-constant spectrum for the "driving point",
- calculation of the "Pulse thermal resistance" diagram for the
"driving point".
