Channel manager

This item of the Plot menu allows controlling the appearance of the function curves shown in all kinds of plot windows. One can control

• whether a curve (corresponding to a measurement channel or to a virtual channel) will be shown in the plot window,
• what the color of a curve will be,
• and what line style will be used for plotting a curve.

For the latter two options controls common in Windows are provided.

Available channels are listed on the left hand side of the Channel Manager window shown in Figure 4-20. Channels are identified with the channel key (see below). Besides the key a preview is provided how the corresponding curve will be plotted if it is enabled. Plotting of a function curve is enabled if the Enable control is checked for that channel in the channel manager - see in Figure 4-20. Color and style of plotting can be defined for each channel individually.

Defaults assigned to each curve can be overridden here, in the Channel Manager window.
