For precise measurements with T3Ster one has to calibrate the temperature sensing devices. These can be p-n junctions, gate-source ports of MOS devices, resistors etc. (see Figure 2-1). Thermocouple calibration process and derivation of absolute temperatures in thermocouple measurements are described in Appendix IIb.
