The T3Ster equipment is provided in different standard configurations - to allow the best scaling to your measurement needs. The smallest configuration is equipped with a single measurement channel that can be gradually upgraded to the maximal configuration with eight channels. Every standard configuration of T3Ster includes demo devices corresponding to the basic test structures shown in Figure 2-1. T3Ster® is shipped with measurement control and results evaluation software. The standard components of a T3Ster® configuration are marked by blue arrows in Figure 7-1.

Add-on option
Figure 7-1: T3Ster standard and add-on options
As add-on options for T3Ster (marked by blue arrows in Figure 7-1), MicReD provides a thermostat (manufactured for order only) that can be used for device calibration as well as it may serve as a cold-plate for quick thermal transient measurements. MicReD also provides pre-amplifiers for thermocouples and IR sensors. A power-booster for measurements with high dissipation level (switched currents up to 20A) is also offered. As a software add-on option, the THERMODEL program is suggested to be used for generating compact dynamic thermal models. The T3Ster-Master program is aimed at sophisticated post processing and manipulation of T3Ster measurement results as well as imported foreign thermal transient curves.
