Figure 4-2 shows the switches and connectors placed on the rear side of the system enclosure. These are:

J1 is the power test connector where the voltages provided by the switching power supply can be measured, connected to the pins through a 1 kOhm protective resistor. (If T3Ster is used with a Centronics interface box, voltage supply to the interface box is provided via the J1 socket. For voltage measurements the interface box needs to be temporarily unplugged from J1.) Signals from the control computer are connected to J2 and J3 through two control cables. The layout of the cables is identical, genders are alternated on the two sides in order to prevent wrong connection.
