Turn on the control computer and its peripheral units (monitor,
printer etc.) as described in its reference manual.
Turn on the main system unit.
In case the T3Ster equipment does not start
up, check the fuse F1 on the rear of the system unit. (Figure
4-2., Table 4-A.) Replace the fuse F1 only
with a fuse of the same type and rating.
Start a system test: Select the Hardware
Test item from the System
menu. Check the Quick test
option and press the Start button.
All modules installed should appear in the output listing as
PRESENT, all test results should appear as OK - indicated by a green check
sign. If some modules appear as NOT PRESENT or some tests result in FAILED
remove and reinsert the module indicated as suggested in section
5.6.
In case the problem persists, check the voltages on the connector
J1 whether they correspond to the values given in Table
4-B. (In case of using the Centronics interface box, unplug its J1 connector
from the rear of the main system unit. For further testing from the computer
reinsert the J1 connector of the interface box.)
Send the test results and measured voltage values to MicReD
Ltd. by e-mail or fax.
You find a file ERRLOG.TXT
in the directory where the test was started. Send the (compressed) file to
MicReD Ltd. by e-mail or post.
NOTE: There are no user serviceable parts in the
equipment. There are some internal fuses in the power supply, which can
be replaced upon previous consultation with MicReD Ltd.
