Installation

• Position your T3Ster system on an even surface so that air can flow freely from and to vents on the cover of the system unit. Do not block any of the vents, especially those on the rear and front.

• Make sure that the P1 power switch on the rear of the system unit is in OFF (O) position.

• Connect the main system unit to the control computer as follows:
  • When using MicReD's ISA-slot high-speed parallel interface card (see section 6.2), connect the two control cables to the corresponding connectors on the system unit (J2, J3) and to the control computer.
    
  • In case of using the Centronics interface box (see section 6.3), fix the box on the rear of the main system unit, connect the short cables of the interface box to connectors J1, J2 and J3 (as shown in Figure 6-4) and finally connect the Centronics-cable to the interface box and to the LPT1 port of the control computer.
    
    If the T3Ster equipment was ordered with that interface option, the Centronics interface box is factory installed. The only connection to be established is the one between the LPT1 port of your computer and the Centronics slot of the interface box, using a standard parallel cable (shipped with the interface box).
    
    
• Connect the power cord to the system unit and then plug the power cord into the mains.

NOTE: T3Ster is a Class I equipment, use power outlet only with proper grounding as it is regulated in your national standards.
