Manual control of the thermostat

When the Manual control item of the Thermostat menu is selected, the Thermostat manual control panel pops up. Initially it looks as shown in Figure 6-12a. One can set the target temperature in the appropraite input field of the panel. The actaul software control loop of the thermostat is started after having pressed the Start button of the window. As the temperature in the chamber of the thermostat changes, the cooling or heating indicators together with the display of the actual temperature provide feedback for the user - as shown in Figure 6-12b and Figure 6-12c.

Note, that the control of the thermostat module takes some resources of the control computer and the Windows operating system, that is why some system slow-down may occure while operating the thermostate.

Note also, that the thermostate temperature may run away of the thermostat is switched on without software control, thus switch on the thermostat only if the T3Ster Main System Unit is switched on the T3Ster software is in the position to control the thermostat.

To set another temperature, press the Stop button and enter a new value for the target temperature.
