From the Evaluate menu (see Figure 5-16) one may invoke the built-in evaluation procedures and (if installed and licensed) the Win32 version of the THERMODEL program for generating compact models in form of SPICE netlists.
Evaluation of transient measurement results is based on deconvolution. In case of the built-in procedures deconvolution is performed by the method known as Bayes-iteration, while the THERMODEL program carries out the deconvolution in the frequency domain. The former method is better suited for generating well-detailed structure (profile) functions while THERMODEL directly generates compact RC ladder models of medium size (4 to 25 stages).
