Digital voltmeter – the toolbar button

This function of the T3Ster software can be activated by selecting the corresponding item of the Measurement menu. This will result in the display of the DVM window shown in Figure 5-13.

Powering Voltage field

The voltage on the DVM connector is shown in volts¹⁰.

Current (built-in sw) field

The current on the internal electronic switch is shown in amperes.

Current (external-sw) field

The current on the switching element of the external power booster unit is shown in amperes.

¹⁰When using an external power booster unit you may use the JP1 connector instead of the DVM input on the SWTDR module for measuring the voltage on the dissipator but not both at the same time. Refer to section 5.3 of the T3ster Hardware Reference Guide .
