Starting the software
Starting the T3Ster software for Win32 is as follows:
- Prior to starting the software it is advised to create appropriate directories
on your hard disk drive (i.e. D:\BIPOL\MEAS1)
- one for each measurement series.
- Turn on the T3Ster Main System Unit.
- Start the measurement and evaluation software by double clicking
to its icon (shown in Figure 3-14) or selecting it
from the Programs menu of your
Win32 system. Upon starting up a splash screen will be shown for 2 seconds
(see Figure 3-15).

An alternate startup method is to click on the icon of a
.par file: this will start the T3Ster software with the given
measurement "project". If for some reason the software is not able
to communicate with the T3Ster equipment, only the measurement
results evaluation functions will be available, provided that the software finds
a valid license key file.
