Installing the device driver for the high speed parallel card of T3Ster

The device drivers of MicReD’s parallel interface card are copied during the setup procedure from the T3Ster software distribution media to the T3Ster software folder for both Windows NT and Windows 9x and compatible operating systems. As a post-installation task, the device driver needed for your operating system has to be installed on your computer.

This procedure is operating system dependent. In a Windows NT, 2K or XP system a special utility program (coming with the T3Ster software) installs and configures the device driver. In Windows 9x or ME operating systems a system wizard supports this task.

Special attention has to be paid at the device driver installation. If a port address already in use by any other hardware component is specified, it may lead to malfunctioning:

Once the device driver of the parallel card has been installed and registered, restart Windows to let the new system settings take effect. Appendix C describes the Win32 registry keys effected by the device driver installation.
