SUNRED - thermal field solver

SUNRED is a 2D-3D simulator for thermal and electrostatic field calculations. The problem can be defined by bitmap images allowing easy definition of arbitrarily shaped structures. Real images may serve as problem definition too. The solution is calculated in a very dense grid (e.g. 128x128 or 256x256 points in a layer). A sophisticated algorithm handles the temperatures of over 120000 grid points. The solution is direct, without iteration steps. The program is well suited for IC, MCM, PWB and MEMS simulations as well as for the study of different IC packages.
