Software tools - licensing policy

Every copy of MicReD's software tools is licensed for a single computer either for a given period of time (software rental) or without time limit. In case of rentals the usual licensing periods start with 3 months and go up to one year. The price of every media kit includes a license for at least 3 months. The licensing period starts at the date of purchase. License key files are distributed by electronic mail. Details of licensing are described in text files included in all of our media kits. After a license expires, license extension can be purchased. This means an issue of a new license key file which should replace the expired one. License key files for multiple MicReD software tools are also possible. If a customer uses two different MicReD software tools on the same host computer this option automatically takes effect. A valid software license grants the right of using the software and entitles for release updates during the licensing period. During the licensing period MicReD software tools can be re-hosted once free of charge. This allows scaling your hardware without interruption in using our software tools.

Licensing for unlimited number of computers is also possible and negotiable. Please contact us with such a special request. Starting with THERMAN v2.0 server based licenses on Windows NT, 2000 and XP platforms are also available.

Please, find general conditions of using MicReD software in our EULA (End-User License Agreement) templates. Licenses for universities are provided at a reduced fee. Programs with demo capabilities are available for everyone free of charge.
